The sky looked really accommodating at 3am as I saw some stars and Venus on the horizon.
Unfortunately the conditions were very overcast at the park on my visit, Alena, and I was
dealing with a couple of rain showers in the few hours I spent on the beach. There was a ten
knot wind from the west which allowed for the waves to be heard at the shell sign post.
This audible experience has been a very rare event for me. There was a lot of mist in the
air from the waves which had me concerned for the glass of the lens.
